A selection of things we've done over the years

Nocturne Halifax

We re-invented our concert Let Evening Come as part of Halifax’s all night art-fest; transforming it into an interactive performance installation that also featured a micro-classical music concert.

Let Evening Come

A multidisciplinary show that incorporates the music of Chausson, Debussy, Greig, and Strauss, alongside original poetry and contemporary folk song arrangements. We even threw in an accordian, because why not? Featuring performers Caroline Whalen, Ethan Lawler, Frietzen Kenter, Jacob Caines, Megan Johnson, Willem Blois, and Zoë Mackey-Boehner.

Façade: An Evening of Rotating Conductors

Mismatched conductors, sinful music and an ensemble that doesn't know top from bottom. This concert has bravado, zaniness, gluttony and pleasure to spare!

Descent into Madness

A concert of wild music inspired by theatrical and musical mad scenes. With music by Beethoven, Berio and Gounod, as well as the world premiere performance of the newly commissioned composition "Descent into Madness" by Ryan Keebaugh.

The resulting work is an electric and daring foray into the possibilities of the human voice. trickpony features the music of Andy Costello, Aura Giles, Sally Norris, Marie-Claire Saindon, Mason Koening, Luke Nickel, Gayle Young, and Elyze Venne-Deshaies.
